2021년 캐나다 대학순위, 그리고 캐나다 대학의 World Rankings
2021년 QS World University Rankings 에서 캐나다 대학들
2021년 QS World University Rankings 에서 작년과 동일하게 캐나다 3대 명문대가 100위 안에 들었습니다. 토론토 대학교(25위)와 맥길 대학교(31위)는 작년보다 4등씩 올랐으며, UBC (45위)는 6등이나 올랐습니다다. 100위 밖에서는 몬트리올 대학교(118위), 앨버타 대학교(119위), 맥마스터 대학교(144위), 워털루 대학교(166위), 웨스턴 대학교(203위) 등을 찾아볼 수 있습니다.


 

2021년 캐나다 대학순위 – Medical Doctoral
여기에 해당되는 대학들은 의대와 박사과정를 포함한 다양한 대학 수준의 프로그램을 제공하는 연구 중심 대학들입니다. 맥길 대학교는 몇 년째 1위 자리에서 내려오질 않고 있습니다.


 

2021년 캐나다 대학순위 – Comprehensive
Comprehensive 카테고리에 해당하는 대학들은 다양한 학부 과정과 대학원 과정들을 보유하고 있으나 의대를 보유하지 않은 경우입니다. 사이먼 프레이저 대학교가 몇 년째 1위 자리를 지키고 있습니다.


 

2021년 캐나다 대학순위 – Primarily Undergraduate
여기에 포함된 대학들은 일반적으로 크기가 더 작은 대신에 학부생들의 강의실에서의 경험을 강조하면서, 소수의 학위 과정만을 제공하고 있습니다. 이것은 미국으로 치면 리버럴 아츠 컬리지(Liberal Arts College)와 비슷한 개념이라고 생각하면 됩니다. UNBC 가 5위까지 내려갔고, Lethbridge 가 2위까지 올라왔으며, Trent 는 작년에 3위였는데 8위까지 내려 갔습니다.
